State-of-the-Art Strength and Conditioning Room

Our brand new Strength and Conditioning Room offers students access to a fully equipped gym featuring modern weights, training bikes, treadmills, and boxing equipment. This dynamic space allows students to learn how to safely use professional gym equipment under supervision while building confidence, strength, and endurance.

Our Food Technology Kitchens have been transformed into modern culinary learning spaces where students can experiment with new recipes, master essential cooking techniques, and learn about hygienic food preparation and kitchen safety.

Hybrid Netball and Basketball Courts

With six hybrid netball and basketball courts, students enjoy access to premium sporting facilities for both friendly and competitive games.
Participation in team sports builds resilience, cooperation, and leadership teaching students the importance of teamwork, communication, and physical wellbeing while having fun and staying active.

Convenient Dual Canteens

Our school features two conveniently located canteens on opposite sides of the campus, ensuring all students have easy access to lunch and snacks without missing valuable class time.
To make life even easier for families, our canteens offer Flexischools online ordering, allowing parents to order lunch in advance and giving students more time to enjoy their breaks and recharge for the day ahead.

Versatile Multi-Purpose Centre

Our impressive Multi-Purpose Centre is the heart of our school community. This adaptable space is used for Physical Education lessons, assemblies, school show rehearsals, presentations, and special events, making it a hub of activity and school spirit.
Its flexibility allows us to host a wide range of learning and community experiences in a welcoming and engaging environment.

Dedicated Dance Studio

For our students who study dance, our Dance Studio provides the perfect space to move, create, and express themselves. Equipped with full-length mirrors and ballet barres, it encourages students to develop their artistic expression, confidence, and creativity through performance and movement.

Our Modern Library – A Hub for Learning and Discovery

Our newly refurbished library is a dynamic, state-of-the-art learning space designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and academic excellence. Thoughtfully designed with students in mind, it combines the warmth of a traditional library with the innovation of modern technology. Shelves are filled with a diverse range of books spanning fiction, non-fiction, academic texts, and contemporary literature catering to every interest and learning level. Alongside our print collection, students have access to an extensive range of online databases, research tools, and digital resources to support study across all subject areas.

Equipped with computers, charging stations, and comfortable study zones, the library provides an inviting environment for both independent and collaborative learning. It’s a quiet, welcoming haven where students can focus on completing assignments, revising for exams, or exploring topics that ignite their curiosity. Open during recess and lunch, the library also serves as a peaceful retreat for students who wish to read, study, or simply enjoy a calm space in the middle of a busy school day.

The library also comes to life after school, offering additional opportunities for students to extend their learning and connect with peers. Homework Club runs every Monday and Thursday until 5:00pm, providing a supportive environment where students can receive guidance from teachers, work on assessments, and develop effective study habits. For those looking to challenge their minds in a different way, Chess Club meets on Mondays after school until 5:00pm, welcoming players of all skill levels to learn new strategies, practice, and compete in a friendly and engaging atmosphere.

Senior Study Space – Supporting Independent Learning and Success

Our Senior Study Space is a dedicated, purpose-built area designed to help our senior students thrive in their final years of schooling. It provides a quiet, focused environment where students can make the most of their study periods. Whether they’re revising for exams, completing assessments, or preparing for upcoming tasks. With a teacher available throughout the day, students have access to guidance, feedback, and academic support whenever they need it. The space encourages independence, collaboration, and effective study habits, helping students take ownership of their learning in a calm and supportive setting. It’s the perfect place to stay organised, productive, and confident as they work towards their academic goals.

Our School Bus – Making Learning Beyond the Classroom More Accessible

Our school bus is a fantastic resource that enhances student opportunities for learning, sport, and exploration beyond the classroom. Used regularly for sports trips, excursions, and other school activities, the bus allows students to travel safely and conveniently as a group. Having our own bus significantly reduces costs for families, as we no longer need to hire external transport for most events, making excursions and sporting competitions more affordable and accessible for all students. Beyond the savings, it also provides flexibility in planning activities and ensures that students can participate in a wide range of enriching experiences that support their learning, teamwork, and connection to the wider community.

Resources and technology

Our school uses modern technology and digital learning tools. Our resources help students learn, create and stay connected. As a NSW public school, we have access to shared programs and tools available to all schools in the state.

Transition plans

From 2025, Randwick Boys and Girls High Schools will combine to form a new co-educational high school in Randwick.

This follows comprehensive community consultation undertaken by the NSW Department of Education in the eastern suburbs school communities to better understand parent and student decision-making regarding high school enrolment choices.

The consultation found strong support for co-educational options, particularly among future parents. Approximately three-quarters of parents of primary school students stated they would prefer to send their child to a co-educational school.

The NSW Government has committed an additional $42 million to be invested at the current sites to make the new co-educational high school a modern fit-for-purpose facility. The investment will be designed to provide all students with the best possible learning environment. There are no plans to sell any portion of the existing school sites and all land in the current schools will be retained for use of the new school.

Whilst in 2025 the school will be co-educational, not all cohorts will have all co-educational classes from 2025 as a transition time will be required in particular for the year 12 2025 cohort. Care will be taken in the transition to ensure that HSC students are well supported during the changes. All current Stage 6 courses at the commencement of Randwick High School will be maintained through to students’ HSC examinations in 2025.
